Climbing That Rock

I went rock climbing for the first time on Friday and I realized something...

We as humans are made for climbing. Our bodies are designed to easily stretch and grasp the rock to make our goal to the top.

I loved the feeling of my legs easily pushing me up so my searching fingers could cling to the next hold. The fear slowly leaving my body as I made my way to the top. I felt this was very primitive way to exercise. It felt so right as my mind focused on the rock in front of me and above me.

I think I have found my sport.
